Cardiovascular Technologist II - Cardiac Cath Lab - Venice - Now Hiring

DepartmentCardiology Invasive Job Summary Performs cardiovascular procedures in the Invasive Cardiology Department under the supervision of the Cardiologist and/or the Electrophysiologist at a level not requiring constant supervision of the technical detail.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment.
Assumes responsibility for designated Lab and any procedures performed in that Lab as required.
Responsible for basic patient care and quality customer service.
Required Qualifications - Require three (3) years of experience in an Interventional Cardiac Cath and/or Electrophysiology Lab.
- Require that CVTs working in the Cardiac Cath Lab must take call.
They must be available to be contacted and report to work within thirty (30) minutes.
- Require graduation from an accredited Health Science program (Associate of Science degree or higher).
- Require Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS and/or RCES), Radiological Tech (Registered) CV, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RCIS), or RN (RCIS).
- Require current licensure or registration in the state of Florida (excluding CVT) (through C.

- Require current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications within ninety (90) days of date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications - Prefer a intermediate/expert knowledge of hospital computer applications.
Mandatory Education Preferred Education Required License and Certs Preferred License and CertsSalary:
$39 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
