Experienced Title Processor/Escrow Closer

Real Estate Title Processor/Escrow Closer required for prestigious Title Company in a rapidly growing Real Estate Company to complete closings for clients in the Englewood area. Previous Title experience required. Individual must be a self-starter and a team player with a great sense of humor who is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service with a smile. Individual must possess excellent phone presence, organizational skills and must be very detail-oriented.

Closer (Escrow) Position Duties:
o Confirm all requirements have been complied with
o Prepare deed(s) and instruments necessary for closing
o Enter all figures onto closing statement
o Communicate with lender for approval prior to closing
o Compliance with lender's instructions and contract
o Complete/arrange for closing conditions
o Provide real estate agents with buyer's and seller's closing figures
o Balance file, cut checks, post deposits and print 0 file balance ledger
o Conduct closing
o Mark up and mail-a-way packages to seller/buyer when mail-a-way closing
o Prepare title quotes
o Issue policy at the table
o Review weekly escrow analysis report
o Market offices when time permits
o Work with processor to clear difficult title defects or issues
o Conduct new Realtor training course monthly
o Assist in training new employees
Title Processor Position Duties:
o Assist Closer(Escrow) Officer with all of the above duties
o Strong Administrative Skills

Qualifications:
o Must be proficient in windows based computing; literate in MS Word, MS Outlook and use of the Internet
o Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
o Self motivated individual that can work with little to no supervision
o Must work well under pressure
o Excellent customer service skills
o Should be flexible
o Must be good with numbers
o Knowledge of Closer's Choice Software and Excel a Plus
Certificates, licenses, registrations:
o Licensed by Florida Department of Insurance is preferable but not required
o CLC (certified land closer) designation through FLTA a plus
o CLA (certified legal assistant) designation a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
