Principle Function
This individual will direct, develop, and equip a Youth Ministry team that serves, protects, shares the gospel with, and makes disciples of Middle school and High school students. This team player will work alongside our entire pastoral team to develop an integrated strategy to grow and mature families holistically.
1. We are looking for someone who can bring significant talent and gifting to our team. They would be a relationship maker developing discipleship and empowering our youth in their daily walk with faith. Ideally that would include both formal Bible education (Seminary or Bible College) as well as experience working with youth & parents.
2. You will need the following to fit into our team dynamics:
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him
Willingness to become and maintain membership at Englewood United Methodist Church
Understanding and excitement about EUMC's vision, mission, and strategy
Be a self-starting servant leader, a team player, and team developer with a positive attitude
Ability to use social media and relevant technology to enhance ministry to students
Ease in meeting students where they are: out in public schools, sports fields, etc.
Affinity to living in the warm and sunny winters of a Florida beach town
3. A successful candidate will be theologically aligned with our doctrine.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
